Wyndham Acmar Klang proudly unveiled the spirit of the holy month at our 2026 Ramadhan Preview, an evening that brought together culture, heritage and gastronomy in a truly memorable celebration.

Guests were welcomed into a thoughtfully curated setting, where tradition met elegance. The highlight of the dรฉcor was our striking Kurma Tower, symbolising abundance and togetherness during Ramadhan. This yearโs ambience was especially unique, inspired by a fusion of Muslim and Chinese architectural elements, thoughtfully designed to reflect the meaningful coincidence of Chinese New Year and Ramadhan in 2026. Rich textures, warm lighting and harmonious details created an atmosphere that celebrated unity across cultures.
The culinary experience previewed the essence of this yearโs Ramadhan buffet, Santapan Jalur Sutera. Inspired by the historic Silk Road, the spread showcased flavours from regions once connected through this legendary trade route. Guests sampled an array of dishes influenced by multiple countries, from crowd favourites like sate to indulgent highlights such as the slow roasted lamb leg, each dish telling a story of cultural exchange through food.

The evening was further enriched by a meaningful speech from Puan Hafiza, who shared the inspiration and symbolic significance behind the name Santapan Jalur Sutera. She highlighted how the Silk Road represents connection, harmony and shared heritage, values that resonate deeply with the spirit of Ramadhan and the diverse traditions celebrated at Wyndham Acmar Klang.
Adding grandeur to the preview was a vibrant food parade, where our dedicated staff members proudly carried signature dishes in a lively presentation, accompanied by our talented chef, Chef Azram, who led the procession and showcased the culinary vision behind this yearโs buffet. Once the parade has been finished, the clock struck at 7.23PM, followed up with an adhan by Encik Najmi.

Entertainment filled the night with colour and rhythm. Guests enjoyed a live band performance by DeDania Band, followed by captivating traditional arts including Dikir Barat and Wayang Kulit by Arjuna Sukma, led by Encik Sulhi Yusuf and brought to the event by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka. The cultural showcase continued with an elegant Traditional Chinese Dance performance by A Dance Academy, beautifully reinforcing the theme of cultural harmony.
